Ever since October 2012, when Joy and I visited Great Keppel Island for the first time, an idea about open water event in paradise stuck in my head. It was one of the “crazy” ideas I’m full of on a regular basis and it drives some people nuts …
It’s very hard to describe how amazing Keppel Islands are, you have to see them by yourself.
Took us a few years of jet-skiing swimming, snorkelling, and exploring all over the island to put “crazy” idea into the reality. Plus, somebody had to swim it first, to make sure it’s doable and enjoyable. Oh yeah, it totally is!
We sincerely hope that after coming to Keppel in 2020 you are going to be back again and again and not just for KISA swimming events. We don’t hope, we know you will be back. It’s an amazing place with so much to see and explore.
